One Of Malta’s Favourite Chocolate Bars Is Being Made Into An Ice-Cream And We Can’t Even
We all remember that one kid at school who was lucky enough to have a Kinder Bueno with their lunch. And if you were lucky enough to be their chosen best friend, you too could be blessed with a bite or two. Now, Kinder Bueno is coming back in a new form perfect for Malta; an ice cream.
Announced by Wall’s earlier this week, the Kinder Bueno ice cream will reportedly hit shelves this summer. German ice cream brand Langnese (which is owned by the same conglomerate as Wall’s) will be introducing the frozen treat first, and their product description has us salivating.
“Here, fine hazelnut milk ice meets a core of Kinder milk chocolate sauce, embedded in a crispy croissant covered with a fine layer of hazelnut cream made from Ferrero hazelnuts.”
Yes. Yes please.
The new ice cream hasn’t even hit international shelves yet, but it’s already steadily breaking the internet.
Some very determined people have managed to track down the factories producing the incoming ice cream, teasing it online. And yes, it did also make it to Maltese newsfeeds, with one local saying, “I didn’t know they existed until I saw this picture, and some things are better left unseen” (no doubt foreseeing a summer full of guilty pleasure snacks).
The Kinder Bueno cone isn’t even the only Kinder ice cream to grace summer 2018, with two more beauties – a stick and a sandwich – planned for release soon.
If you can’t wait that long, there are some amazing ice-cream parlours in Malta which can even offer their own take on the Kinder Bueno bar.
