Malta’s New Domino’s Just Smashed European Franchise Records
The much discussed (and ordered) Domino’s Pizza in Birkirkara has had an extraordinarily busy first week, to say the least. Within the first 10 minutes of officially opening their doors, the first Maltese branch had over 80 orders placed, and actually ran out of key supplies by closing time. Things didn’t slow down there.
Domino’s just announced their Birkirkara branch had smashed European franchise records for first week sales.

Domino’s Birkirkara have apologised to customers for not having been able to meet the high demand of orders, however with this new accolade we’re pretty sure expansion is on the horizon for this new branch. For one, the pizza palace is currently looking for new drivers to join their comfort food convoy.
Their site provides a real-time pizza tracker for you to follow your order from the oven to your doorstep, including an average delivery time which has, according to the franchise, improved from 28 minutes last week to just 20 minutes. With some new drivers, and extra supplies, Malta’s Domino’s might just rake in a few more awards in the coming months.
