Popular French Bakery Chain ‘Paul’ To Land In Malta For First Time Ever As Part Of Bormla Waterfront Mega Project
The team behind Valletta’s Capo Crudo are completely taking over the whole promenade of the grand harbour marina in Cospicua by opening four different new concepts all next to each other… and they’re bringing some big names to the island as part of their mega project.
As part of the massive undertaking, the much-loved Paul bakery will be coming to Malta for the very first time ever and we absolutely cannot wait!
Paul is a French bakery, café and restaurant chain which started all the way back in 1889. Since then, the international franchise has opened eateries all over Europe, Asia, America and the Middle East.
You can expect generously-filled baguette sandwiches, quiches, fresh French breads, pastries and much more.
It was definitely one of my go-to lunch break destinations in London for sure.
But the delicious French bakery isn’t even the only exciting thing coming to Bormla this year
As we’ve mentioned before, there will be three more concepts introduced to Cospicua.
The Capo Crudo team will also be launching a steakhouse, Cut, which will be really trendy, with loud music, an open kitchen and the use of wood and charcoal instead of gas to cook dishes.
There will also be an authentic pizza (Neapolitan style) and pasta joint called Al Marenaro with a decor that pays homage to the Greek Island of Mykonos and boasting a Santorini ambience.
Last but not least, a spritz bar will also be emerging, which will be led by top mixologist Lucio Spritz Di Livingno who will be serving over a dozen combos of spritz concoctions.
The first of these four concepts will open in July, with the rest opening their doors after each consecutive month.
Capo Crudo’s management have been teasing the grand rollout but are currently keeping the order of the openings slightly under wraps, but we’re looking forward to each and every single one and will definitely keep you guys posted!
