Salumeria Backs ‘Stop Food Content’ Campaign In Solidarity With Palestine

Salumeria has joined the ‘stop food content’ movement in support of Palestine, originally sparked by Italian chef @bonci_gabrielle, who condemned the use of food deprivation as a weapon against civilians in Gaza.
Bonci called it an atrocity that those involved in the food industry cannot overlook.
In a public statement, Bonci said, “Those who love and work with food cannot remain indifferent to the use of their deprivation as a weapon against the civilian population, as is happening right now in Gaza. Silence is complicity, but it can also serve to make noise.”
He announced that he would refrain from sharing any food-related content for the day as an act of solidarity with the Palestinian people and a denunciation of the actions carried out by Israel and those supporting them.
“For all of us, besides nutrition and livelihood, food represents joy, sharing, culture, exchange and caring,” Bonci added. “We cannot witness the denial of these values without feeling discomfort and indignation.”
The statement concluded with hashtags: #silenceiscomplicity #stopgazagenocide #feedgaza.
