Spinola Gourmet Restaurant’s New Ice-Cream Sandwiches Will Quench Your Cravings This Summer

The Spinola craft bakery Manouche may have just taken Malta’s gelato game to the next level, launching a tasty- looking range of ice-cream sandwiches.
The ice-creams come in three varieties – in a cookie and cake sandwich, on top of a stick dipped in torched meringue and in a cup ‘fluffed’ with rainbow madeira cake or chocolate fudge cake.
And each option comes with an extremely enticing choice of ice-cream flavours too, with some of the most enticing ones being:
- Torched meringue sticks with honeycomb, vanilla and orange ice-cream and coated in dark chocolate.
- Salted caramel and pecan ice-cream in a sable cookie sandwich.
- Roasted banana and toffee ice-cream in a Graham cracker sandwiches.
- Vanilla ice-cream in a cup with rainbow madeira cake and cornflakes.
Add in the fact that the ice-creams are all very reasonably-priced (ranging between €2 and €3.50), and Manouche could well be on its way to becoming one of the go-to places if you want to quench your ice-cream cravings during this boiling Maltese summer.
