These places offer healthy yet creative dishes that will make you want to eat clean all the time and not just for a New Year’s Resolution (because your body is your temple)!

So start the year by getting your health on at one of these eight eateries.

1. Pure, Sliema

The mouth-watering dishes at Pure will knock your socks off! Pure are true believers of healthy and vegan dishes that look really pretty.

The menu changes very often, so take a look at their Facebook page or – better yet – just pop by!

2. Pash, St Paul’s Bay

If healthy dishes are what you’re after, then healthy dishes is what you’ll get at Pash.

Their sausages, burger patties, desserts, curries, sauces, vegan cheese, burgers, burger buns and pizza doughs are all made in-house with super fresh produce.

3. Goldie’s, Msida

Goldie’s specialises in hearty healthy food with plenty of flavour.

They are closed for refurbishment at the moment, but are re-opening in mid-January to bring you something even better, so watch this space!

4. Grassy Hopper, Gżira

The Grassy Hopper serves grub with high quality carbs and low GMI foods, without refined sugars and starches. They also use as many superfoods as they can and often source their vegetables from organic or pesticide-free farmers.

This superb vegetarian/vegan cafe do regular themed dinners such as Mexican or bistro nights!

5. eeetwell

Gżira, Valletta, St Julian’s

Detox your bod with one of the many healthy dishes from eeetwell. Choose from their plethora of wraps, sandwiches and scrumptious rice dishes… all absolutely guilt-free!

6. No.43, Valletta

No.43 is a healthy cafe serving loads of fresh sandwiches, soups, salads and cakes homemade daily from freshly produced ingredients.

They also have superfood jars with chia seeds soaked in coconut milk, served with greek yogurt and fresh fruit, and topped with goji berries and bee pollen. If that doesn’t sound healthy and yummy, we don’t know what does.

7. J’Oli Sandwich Salad Bar

Sliema, Msida, Valletta

The main concept here is to ‘design your own salads’ by using the large variety of ingredients on offer. J’Oli also offer refreshing wraps, bagels, rolls, toasties, pasta and soups.

8. Emma’s Kitchen, San Ġwann

Emma’s Kitchen is renowned for dishes that are #BrunchGoals but they offer more than just great breakfast dishes and photogenic avocados.

We especially love their regular-changing specials such as orzotto with salsa verde, Jerusalem artichoke and pea shoots.
