Malta’s summer calendar is full of feasts, but some inevitably end up attracting more people. Such is the case with St. Julian’s, one of the busiest central towns on the island. Add Malta’s summer weather and a good old feast, and you’ve got yourself one unmissable weekend. This year, two of the biggest food chains in St. Julian’s (and in extension, Malta) are throwing a special breakfast extravaganza, just in time for the festa. 

New York Best and Fat Louie’s are coming “għal-logħob”

Yep; the door-to-door Diacono brothers’ eateries are teaming up to bring a breakfast straight out of every foodie’s dreams to the streets of St. Julian’s, and they’re doing it all in the very heart of the town. The Facebook event promises “Butter, Bacon, Bajd, Booze and Bass”, and will also include two local DJs from the underground scene.

Seeing as it’s not a festa until you wash down a lot of delicious food with some blaring music, trapdoor and serial depth will be dropping tunes all throughout the morning. Hey, it’s a Maltese festa, which means 9am is the new 9pm.

Both NYB and FL have been known to whip up some mean breakfasts for the best cheat day possible, and judging by the photos they’ve been sharing lately, this is bound to be just as good. 

Expect anything from the familiar egg and bacon combo to a mouthwatering bone marrow fry up, thrown in for good measure.
