While we understand that all good things must come to an end, did it have to be this good thing in particular?

Taking to Facebook, the owners of Ta’ Xbiex’s beloved Eat Street announced that they will be selling their business, and on MaltaPark no less.

“We have enjoyed bringing a lot of our favorite dishes to you… but the time has come for us to move on.”

Sweet Chilli Chicken And Peanut Noodle Salad

The sweet chilli chicken and peanut noodle salad you’ll never get to try.

Hello Everyone! Small announcement… we have decided to put our business up for sale…even though we have enjoyed bringing a lot of our favorite dishes to you (we hope you enjoyed them too!) the time has come for us to move on. We plan to head off on a new adventure by the end of February. So if you know any good chefs who are interested in taking over our business tell them to check out our Maltapark ad.
Till then we will still be in our usual spot in Ta Xbiex.
Thanks to all our loyal customers for supporting us from the very beginning.

Luke & Sarah.

Of course, the decision is understandable and everyone should always do what makes them happy… but the heartbreak was real.

And if that wasn’t enough to bring you down, today’s menu read “here’s our menu for the day…yes BBQ plum pork belly is back..its been a while (last time ever?)”

WHY. Why would you do that to us?

Till the business itself is sold the couple will keep serving our favourite dishes, so don’t waste time and hurry on down… you know, before it’s too late!
