Meet The South Korean Man Who’s Obsessed With Malta’s Export

Article Featured Image

We all love raving about that one imported bottle of wine or craft beer we managed to get our hands on, posting photos of it on social media and telling our friends (and everyone who’ll listen) that it’s definitely like nothing they’ve ever tasted before. Well, it turns out that halfway across the world, a South Korean man is doing the same thing… with Cisk.

Instagram user darakhoon first posted a photo with a bottle of Cisk a couple of weeks ago at a Fun Fun Divers event (where he works) with tags like #importedbeer and #scared, but that didn’t last too long. Photos of the iconic yellow can quickly filled up his Instagram uploads, right up to a photo he put up less than 24 hours ago. It seemed like the guy, much like most of Malta, took quite the liking to our national beer.

And while some of the photos seemed to be taking at lunch breaks at the diving company or team building events, darakhoon even took some cans home, and an instant bond was formed between man and beer. And against all odds, he even managed to make Cisk feel totally at home along with traditional South Korean cuisine!

Cisk’s influence continues to take over the world, and with even more awards being thrown its way over the last couple of days, the sky truly is the limit for our beer. Last month, Farsons shared the great news that Cisk is now available in around 350 retail stores in South Korea, and the beer’s importers participate in events and festivals on a regular basis.

Hats off to darakhoon for sharing our love of Cisk, and hey; we’d definitely be interested in trying out some mouth-watering South Korean products.

Tag a friend who loves Cisk as much as this guy does!
