Have you ever eaten Baharat spiced beef with preserved oranges before? If you haven’t the delectable dishes that Levantina Bistro Bakehouse are putting out there may just change your mind, because they look amazing.

And the best thing is they’ve now opened their doors in Mriehel.

The preserved oranges are the secret

Levantina specialises in Middle Eastern dishes, creating some of the tastiest meals from the region in-house in Mriehel. Enjoy exotic flavours from all over the Middle East like Maftoul (Palestinian Couscous), homemade Greek Yoghurt, or lamb Koftas cooked in Persian dried limes.

They even have unique, modern takes on indigenous North African ingredients: figs, halloumi, and quinoa anyone? We are definitely down.

Their homemade flatbread might even hold its own against the classic ftira, with a different texture and flavour profile than the Maltese version of flatbread.

And it’s not all savoury dishes. They’ve teamed up with local speciality coffee roasters Lot Sixty One to get their hands on some of the tastiest coffee beans around, and they use La Marzocco coffee machines to produce the most authentic cappuccino this side of Dubai.

And what could go better with that cappuccino than some freshly baked croissants or pastries, straight from the oven to your table.
