King’s Landing Confectionery is an actual thing that exists in Rabat and while everything in the real (err, fantasy) city is burning, the treats here look like they’re baked just right
So please, hold the door while we saunter on over to get our share of Hot Pie (which we’re not sure they sell, but what a good joke).
Originally called St. Philip’s Confectionery, the store underwent a rebranding around the same time that Game of Thrones fever swept across the whole world faster than the Night King’s invasion was thwarted by the Starks’ merry band of misfits.
Look, Maltese people need a new reason to eat sugar like Rhaegal needs an arrow in the throat, but we’ll take any excuse to relive the iconic series (at least seasons one through seven).
