Some of the freshest fish on the island, cooked into some of the most beautiful dishes on the island. Of course it’s Tartarun.

This laid-back eatery in the centre of Wied il-Għajn has some of the tastiest marinated ribs and burgers on the island. Their Irish burger is to die for, with a homemade Jameson sauce really making this burger stand out.

8. Bongo Nyah

Bongo Nyah and Zion are your alternative stalwarts in the region. Tasty and healthy items like smoothies, juices and mains like the Bean Burger as well as the Chicken Teriyaki makes this place a lowkey gem.

This Italian-run restaurant is all about pairing high quality food with high quality wines – and their passion is written all over their menu of Italian delights.

If fish n’ chips, beef pies and a pint of lager are your thing, than look no further than the Londoner’s Pub. And the ample parking nearby is always a bonus.
