Think you’ve seen gourmet pastizzi? Think again. Hilton Malta has taken the island’s revived obsession with this national treasure to a whole new level.
A photo uploaded on the hotel’s Facebook page shows a perfectly golden brown pastizz with gorgeous crispy layers, served in what looks like a fresh pea sauce, ricotta foam and a perfectly poached egg yolk.
And it’ll ONLY cost you €85 per person to get to taste this beaut. You will get a lot more for your money though. This is just one of the dishes being served to celebrate 100 years of Marsovin Wine and 100 years since Conrad Hilton opened the first Hilton hotel.
The evening will feature a wide-ranging menu inspired by Malta’s traditional cuisine and each dish will be paired with a specific wine from Marsovin’s collection.
