This Is Malta’s Best Restaurant For 2023 According To The Definitive(ly) Good Guide
The Definitive(ly) Good Guide Awards have returned for another year… and de Mondion has clinched the prestigious top spot!
In a ceremony held last night at The Grand Hotel Excelsior, the Mdina restaurant came out on top following a year where 4,143 participants dined out on average one to two times a week. And yes, that equalled a total of 323,154 dining experiences in a year to come up with the Best Overall Restaurant on the island.
A total of 40 restaurants around Malta and Gozo won an award last night as the highest restaurants around, taking into account their overall rating, the number of people rating, comments and other data from the survey.
At the end, however, only one restaurant could make it to the top spot, and it went to the one Michelin Star restaurant housed within Mdina’s luxury boutique hotel The Xara Palace Relais & Chateaux.
