This Is The Maltese Dessert You Didn’t Know You Needed (Or Wanted)
2018 has already been a year where truth officially became stranger than fiction. As we speak, there is a car casually in orbit in space. And just weeks ago, a ship literally shipwrecked near St. Paul’s Bay on the holiday of St. Paul’s Shipwreck.
But things are about to get even wilder: the guys at Shoreditch have just combined Nutella pastizzi with Nutella pancakes, to make Nutella pastizzi pancakes.
“We’ve teamed up with Vinu Muscat from Sphinx Pastizzeria who are delivering their fresh pastizzi here everyday to create something original, crazy, and super tasty,” said Chef Daniel Grech to Lovin Malta.
“It’s the three best things in life together: pastizzi, pancakes, and Nutella!”
The warm pastizzi come with a chocolatey nutella centre wrapped in the flaky texture of the pastizzi to create a dish the likes of which have never been seen before.
And people are already losing it over this excessive dessert.
We’ve barely made it out of February guys. At this rate, we’ll have mqaret Panettone by Christmas.
