Malta seemed to have reached peak pizza-burger sometime about a week ago, so the guys over at Shoreditch Bar and Kitchen in Paceville have decided to up the ante and start creating some pasta-inspired burgers.
Chef Daniel Grech unveiled his latest creation, the Carbonara Burger, describing it “simple, fuckin’ rich, and classic”.
It’s made up from crispy guanciale, homemade carbonara sauce, truffle emulsion, grated Pecorino Romano cheese, rucola and aged Parmigiano-Reggiano, and fresh cracked pepper overflowing over a big beef patty.
It just hit the menu today, but has already been flying out of the kitchen

It’s unknown how long this special will be on Shoreditch’s menu, so if you are the kind of person who loves mixing burger with classic pasta flavours, best get yourself to Paceville ASAP.
