U Bistrot in St Julian’s closed its doors in February to have a complete refurbishment, and while fans of the eatery were justifiably disappointed to see one of their favourites haunts temporarily close down, the newly unveiled edition of the restaurant was well worth it.

Beyond a total makeover of the space including the kitchen and bathrooms, it’s really the ceiling that we can’t stop staring at.

If you look up, what you’ll find is a ceiling adorned with tons of flowers… and my God does it look like heavenly Instagram material.

U Bistrot used about 5,000 orchards to make the space look like it belongs in some sort of fairytale parallel universe. Some people live for the opportunity to dine under the stars but that’s because they’ve probably never dined under tonnes of stunning flowers.

The menu has also been remastered featuring a load of organic fare, vegan dishes and also a brand new French toast section!
