We bet that the mention of the Maltese ‘fenkata’ on the hit TV series ‘The Good Doctor’ was not on your 2024 bingo card.
While it wasn’t out ours either, we should did perk up when we heard Dr. Jared Kalu mention the traditional Maltese dish.
Trying to impress a potential romantic interest, Dr. Kalu told his potential love interest that the dish “tastes even better” than it smells.
“It is a fenkata. A Maltese stew with vegetables, wine, and rabbit,” he told fellow doctor Jordan Allen.
The scene takes place during the fourth episode of Season 7.
