Calling all cheesy lovers! If you find yourself anywhere near London over the holidays, we’ve found a new eatery you definitely need to make your way to; King’s Head & Courtyard. One of their delicious burgers just went viral… and the man behind the burger is actually Maltese!
Brad Bartolo Frendo is one the Maltes owners of the King’s Head, along with the Sliema-based media agency Eight Eight. This week, popular Facebook group Londonist shared a video of Bartolo Frendo’s latest offering, and it’s mouthwatering to say the least.
Say hello to your new obsession: a Deep Fried Camembert Burger
No, your eyes aren’t cheating you. That is indeed a burger, filled with gooey camembert cheese, deep fried to perfection. Be still, our beating hearts.
Add to the mix char-grilled bacon, a toasted bun and a healthy serving of salad, and you’ve got yourself a foodgasm in the making.
The Londonist feature got 160,000 views in the first two days since posting, and we’re willing to bet that number is only going to go up in the near future. We played it like seven times just now, so there you go.
King’s Head have a ‘hidden courtyard’ and a ‘funky bar’ for you to enjoy great food like the camembert burger, and this should definitely be on your radar if you’re going to find yourself anywhere near London’s Fulham High Street (or the Putney Bridge tube station).
