The fourth instalment of Malta’s fabulous foodie-show Lovin Eats is finally here – and this time we’re diving into the world of vegan food.
This week’s episode features a tasty mix of sophisticated dishes at some super-cool dine-in restaurants as well as some more lowkey typical street food.
Oh, and Lovin Eats just featured its very first special guest… and it’s the only and only Chucky Bartolo!
One of Malta’s most audacious stand-up comics and writers, Chucky showed up to share some 100% vegan bao buns and an eggless omelette, decorated, of course, with some very pretty edible flowers.
Vegan or not, these are some dishes you have to try! You might just find yourself converting to the vegan lifestyle once you’re done watching.
1. Balance Bowl, Gżira
2. Peas & Love, Msida
3. Avotaco, Ta’ Xbiex
4. Pure, Sliema

Vegan burgers, quesadillas, omelettes and dosas – it seems like you can turn any of your favourite dishes vegan… and it tastes just as good, if not better.
