‘Let’s Go Round Gozo’: Neil Agius’ Ocean Festival Kicked Off This Morning
The first Ultra Swimming Event Round Gozo hosted by renowned Maltese athlete Neil Agius kicked off in the early hours of this morning.
13 swimmers are taking on the 37-kilometre challenge as they swim clockwise around the sister island within a 15-hour limit.

The swim started from Ħondoq ir-Rummien and the swimmers are being guided and supported by Ocean Festival crew and St. John’s sea ambulance.
While Neil shared his dismay at not participating , the athlete is still right by the swimmers’ sides on the crew boat supporting all the participants.
