Donald Trump Shot At Pennsylvania Rally
Donald Trump was shot yesterday during a rally in Pennsylvania.
The suspected shooter, who has been named by the FBI as Thomas Matthew Crooks, was shot dead shortly afterwards.
The FBI say they are treating the incident as an assassination attempt.
Trump said on Truth Social that a bullet pierced the “upper part” of his right ear.
“I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin,” the US presidential candidate wrote.
“Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening.”
Blood was visible on Trump’s ear and face as secret services officers rushed him away. Trump received treatment at a local medical centre and has since returned home.
