As violent clashes escalate in Sudan’s capital, Khartoum, a local non-profit organization Migrant Offshore Aid Station (MOAS) is launching a crucial fundraising campaign to bring much-needed relief to the regions of conflict.

Since April 2023, the escalating conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has worsened the hardships of millions already reeling from the impact of drought, famine, and displacement.

A region suffering from economic crisis, political instability, and inter-communal conflicts has resulted in a severe humanitarian crisis.

Amid this turmoil, MOAS is stepping up to aid the vulnerable families hit hardest by these adversities.

The ongoing conflict has killed over 700 people and injured 5,200 more.

This has resulted in an estimated 24 million people now in desperate need of humanitarian aid.

The dire situation is worsened by skyrocketing costs for food, fuel, and other essential goods. It’s further exacerbated by the severe damage inflicted on crucial infrastructure, including the airport, ministries, and hospitals.

In Khartoum, less than 20% of health facilities remain fully functional, leaving millions without access to urgent medical services.

MOAS is planning to bring humanitarian relief, focusing on the essential medications and therapeutic food urgently needed by the affected population.

Four million children under the age of five suffer from malnutrition in Sudan due to a scarcity of food, clean water, and proper healthcare.

But the situation in Sudan is desperate, and it requires immediate action. MOAS is calling for donations to provide life-saving humanitarian assistance and to support the resilience of vulnerable communities.

Your contribution can make a significant difference. With your donation, you can help bring essential medicines, medical supplies, and food aid to those in need.
