Watch: Israel Attacks Iran’s Nuclear Sites – Iran Reportedly Strikes Back

Iran has launched retaliatory attacks after Israel targeted nuclear infrastructure in its capital, Tehran.
A wave of initial strikes across Iran targeted nuclear facilities, ballistic missile production and senior Iranian officials including military leaders. This has raised serious concerns of the outbreak on an all-out war.
Following Israel’s attacks, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video statement claiming Iran has recently taken steps to weaponise enriched uranium which could produce a nuclear weapon “in a very short time”.
Six Iranian nuclear scientists were killed in the strikes. The Israeli military said Iran has launched over 100 drones toward Israel’s territory after 200 fighter jets were used to target Tehran.
Netanyahu said that Operation Rising Lion will last as long as it takes for the threat of Iran to be removed – he added that this could take days.
General Hossein Salami, the commander-in-chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard, was killed in the attack. He was among the country’s most powerful figures. The attack also killed Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Iran’s highest-ranking military officer.
The United States said it was not involved in these attacks in any way, with President Donald Trump saying he did not want Israel to target Iran as US negotiations on a nuclear deal continue.
