It’s the last few days you get to wake up late, with no commitments and few responsibilities on your mind. And while you might feel the need to tell everyone in Malta that you’re free and they’re not, you should also see what you’re going to do with all this free time.

With all the familial and religious duties done and dusted, you finally have these last few days to relax.  In case you’re bored of refreshing Facebook and Instagram for the hundredth time, here are some suggestions of things you could – or should – be doing.

1. Binging TV series

You’ve got a couple of days to enjoy laying in bed, opening your laptop, and binging one of the millions of Netflix series all your friends are raving about.

It’s easy to forget how busy you’ll be next week, and those 50 minute episodes really eat up time.

2. Devouring chocolate

Chocolate bunnies and Easter eggs leftovers are probably all over, so why don’t you indulge yourself?

You know you can’t leave them hanging around the house for ages, and you know you want them anyway. Get it over and done with; scoff that sweet chocolate down the hatch, and celebrate the last of your Easter holidays.

3. Enjoying the beautiful weather

Have you even seen how beautiful the weather has been this week?

It’s summer come early, hot enough to run around with just a top, but cool enough not to sweat. Go work on your pre-summer tan, and get a cheekily early dip in the sea if you dare.

4. Catching up on sleep

For probably the first time since December, you’re remembering what it’s like to wake up later than 7am on a weekday, and we bet you’re loving it.

Enjoy yourself, there’s no reason for you to be up early, roll around in bed for hours on end and catch up on some Zzz’s.

5. Enjoy spending time with the family

With everyone being so busy most of the time, Easter is a great time to catch up with what’s been happening with the family.

Now that Easter Sunday lunch is over, you have a few more days of enjoying their company. Make the most of it.

6. Exercise

This is a great time to check out what the gym you go to looks like during the day time. If you’re not a big fan of chocolate (or you have even more of it to burn in your system), now’s the time to get your exercise on.

Also as previously mentioned the weather is fantastic at the moment, so you definitely should make the most of it and exercise during the day.

Summer bodies don’t just magically pop up, and we’re only a couple of months away from June. Just saying.

BONUS: STUDY

Well, you probably know it’s what you should be doing.

With two weeks off, it should be a fantastic time to catch up on all your home work, course work and studies.

It’s not fun, but you know what’s better than two weeks off? A whole summer relaxing.
