61-Year-Old DJ Who Stole The Show (And Our Hearts) To Return To Sliema Party Tomorrow

They say life begins at 30, but for Philippe Martinet, things really start kicking off at 60. Last year, the sexagenarian turned up at Sliema’s Surfside for a sweat-inducing set at one of the weekly A Little Crush nights. Now, everyone’s favourite forever-young DJ is coming back for another round tomorrow!

Philippe turned 61 last May, and has been DJing for the last 25 years. Originally French, he’s lived in Malta for most of his life, making a comeback two years ago for his daughter’s wedding. It was actually that cheeky comeback that secured him a gig at last year’s A Little Crush… and after stealing the show with his retro tunes and slick dance moves, he was guaranteed another slot at this year’s edition.

Last week, the organisers over at A Little Crush announced that Philippe would be making his long-awaited comeback for their next Wednesday appointment.

As expected, the news had hundreds of people eagerly awaiting tomorrow’s gathering, with over 1,000 people currently hyping the night up on the official Facebook event page.

If you want to know what looking good at 60 looks like, you know where you need to be tomorrow night!
