The first edition of the Lovin Music Awards were a huge success for Maltese artists. For those of you who missed out on being there, we’ve got you covered as we’ll be uploading every performance this weekend!
You’ve seen Ira and the Travellers, and Michela too, but we’ve been holding back on some of the best crowd-pleasers from the night to give those who weren’t there the chance to bask in the glory of Malta’s finest musical talent.
Malta’s reigning queen of pop, Ira Losco, gave us one hell of a performance to the tune of a ten minute medley of the best tracks from her two-decade-long career as a solo artist.
The reigning LMA champions and easily one of Malta’s biggest bands also gifted us with their presence on stage for the night.
With another massive medley of the best of their current repertoire, the crowd loved them so much they ended up taking home Best Performance of the Night – and for good reason, too.
X Factor’s season one baby and 2019’s Eurovision entry for Malta belted out her technicolour track (and all-around bop) as well, proving to us all once more why she is the reigning X Factor champ.
But that wasn’t all the LMAs had to offer on the live performance front.
Luke Chappell, Giorga Borg, Eddie Fresco, Gaia Cauchi, Kevin Paul and so many more local talents were all on scene to give us all what we’ve been wanting for years: a show.
