Lovin Malta is once again getting the ball rollin’ to put everyone in the Christmas spirit.

#LovinMiliedChallenge, a Lovin Malta initiative, is about to return for its sixth edition.

Christmas is a time to rejoice, spend time with your loved ones, and give back.

However, inflation and the cost of living have increased considerably this year and many are struggling to make ends meet.

Lovin Malta will work with local foundations, homes and NGOs to distribute festive gift boxes to vulnerable people and animals in different categories.

Here’s how to make the gift boxes:

  1. Grab a shoebox
  2. Wrap the base and lid separately in festive wrapping paper. There’s no need to seal the box
  3. Pick a gift box from the ones listed below and fill it with the items listed
  4. Spread the Christmas cheer and get everyone you know involved by using the hashtag #LovinMiliedChallenge

These are the six categories of gift boxes we are collecting:

Calling businesses, schools and individuals to take part in this initiative!

Lovin Malta has received some extremely generous donations in the past; for example, Purina Malta and Nestlé Collect recently donated a whopping €12,000 worth of pet food for abandoned animals, amounting to 20,000 meals for our four-legged friends.

We would love as many people, schools, and businesses as possible to join us in this initiative this time around.

This is what went down last year.

The collection will launch on 21st November and gift boxes will be delivered on 22nd December, right before Christmas. Special thanks to MaltaCoop our transport partners. Who will be delivering the gift boxes to their rightful homes.

Dropping off your boxes is easy. Thanks to Atlas Insurance you can drop off your contributions at any one of their outlets in Mosta, Naxxar, Paola, Ħaż-Żebbug, Ta’ Xbiex, Birkirkara, Rabat, San Ġwann, St. Paul’s Bay, Luqa, and Bormla.
