Remember when we told you about a grant worth €40,000 available to help fund a great idea that could have a big social impact on Malta? Well that grant has just doubled, and the deadline for that great idea has been extended to the 14th June.
Just to recap – this initiative is looking to help bring to life an innovative idea that proposes to improve Malta in some way. The idea could be connected to the environment, alleviating poverty, social issues, community support, it could be about reducing traffic congestion, promoting animal welfare, helping refugees to integrate, or ensuring that elderly people are not left to fend for themselves.
Basically – anything which you think could positively impact an aspect of Maltese society.
So how does it work, exactly?
Gasan Foundation and Inspirasia Foundation are collaborating to find an awesome social impact project to support. €80,000 will be given to the most innovative and effective submissions as grants. Other finalists may receive non-financial support, including mentoring to help make their projects a reality.
And what do you need to do to take part?
1. Check that your project meets the required guidelines.
2. Submit your proposal together with a filled-in application form.
3. Make sure everything’s in by the 14th June 2017.
