Just over a week since the musical was performed at UoM’s Sir Temi Zammit Hall, Lawrence Gray, the show’s frontman playing Dom Mintoff himself, took to Facebook to announce that the musical will be back for 2 more performances in February.
“Thanks to its success , it’s gonna be on stage again on the 28 and 29 February 2017… try not to miss it this time or you’ll miss A pice of history” (sic)
Gray has announced the show will be back on the 28th and 29th of January. The musical, which features several original songs in Maltese, ran from the 23rd to the 25th in honour of the would-be 100th birthday of Mintoff. Directed by Tonio Vella, the musical featured a large cast, that included established singers like Lawrence Gray and Eleonor Cassar.
