The Results Are In! Here’s How Each Category Divided Voters At The Lovin Malta Social Media Awards
Boy what a ride our first ever Social Media Awards are proving to be. Over 100,000 submissions later, voting officially closed last week, and we’re now sitting on a stash of some very impressive and well-deserved winners.
Ahead of our awards show next Friday, here’s a little teaser of our results.
Some categories were hard-fought battles. Others, very clear landslides
The 20 different categories – everything from Best Pet and Best Influencer to Most Inspiring Person and Best Malta Ambassador – had different levels of closeness. One category – Best Fashion Designer – literally came down to just three votes, while others were absolute victories with the winners getting thousands of votes more than the next nominees.
And while you’re going to have to wait until Friday 8th February to find out who the winners are, we’re giving you a little bit of a teaser as to how the thousands of votes were spread out over the categories.
Below is a set of charts showing the proportion of votes in each category. Time to start guessing!
Before you try to find a pattern in the colours, though, don’t bother; every category has been assigned random colours to the order of nominees. Sorry!
