Lovin Malta’s video content and breaking stories will soon start appearing on a number of Bus terminals across the islands of Malta and Gozo as part of a three-year exclusive partnership with Streetmedia.

The agreement will see a news ticker featuring the latest news stories as well as the media company’s video content feature on the screens across Malta and Gozo’s busiest bus terminal hubs, from Valletta to the Ċirkewwa Ferry Terminal, as well as the University of Malta, Mater Dei Hospital and high-traffic areas like Floriana, the Marsa Junction, the Qawra Bus Terminal and the Rabat-Victoria Terminal in Gozo.

Further state-of-the-art ventures are on the horizon and set to be announced in the coming year.

After six years of impactful content that shaped the local digital media sphere and an ever growing audience of over 500,000 unique followers across all social media platforms, Lovin Malta is taking the next step in its mission of taking our content to our audience, adding the offline space to our offering.

Over and above the live updates, breaking stories and video content that our followers have grown accustomed to, this partnership will continue providing our partners with added value impact and advertising options when running their campaigns with us.

“This exclusive partnership signals an exciting turning point for Lovin Malta’s increasingly diverse portfolio that includes investments and partnerships in FreeHour, Island Talent Agency, Trusted Tutors, and most recently DealToday,” said Lovin Malta CEO and Head of Content, David Grech.

“Our aim remains that of providing our followers and clients with the most impactful content both commercially and journalistically while continuing to consolidate the company’s financial independence,” he continued.

On the partnership, editor Johnathan Cilia said the new Streetmedia venture will bring Lovin Malta’s top stories close to more than 75,000 pedestrians and bus users everyday.

“From launching the first online Maltese media house to putting on an annual social media awards show, Lovin Malta has never been afraid of testing new boundaries for Maltese media,” Cilia expressed.

“We are excited to provide a new reading and viewing experience to our loyal and newer readers.”

Streetmedia Director Adrian Sillato added “we are delighted to have Lovin Malta as our news partner on our Digital Bus Terminals”.

“This collaboration will add dynamic and real-time news content which will further engage with the general public during their commute. We are certain that this will attract more eyes to our screens, and thus, give more value to our clients.”

With a number of new exciting projects and partnerships set to be announced in the coming weeks, be sure to get in touch if you would like to collaborate, create or campaign with us on our journey.
