EcoFrench Malta, a French-Maltese NGO, is launching a start-up contest to help make environmentally-conscious and sustainable businesses a reality.
If you have a great business idea that you’ve been meaning to kickstart for a while and would love to back it up with an ecological mindset, this upcoming contest is perfect for you.
“Our world is facing concerns on our impact on the environment and the younger generations are the ones who will have to live in the world that previous generations have left to them,” the company stated. “It is our duty to assist our young talented entrepreneurs to develop business acuity based on ecological ethics and a sustainable development process.”
The national contest is set to select proposals that aren’t only innovative, but also support a more sustainable future. Aimed at young entrepreneurs, it proposes a number of areas of progress; including clean energy, eco tourism, transport and waste cycle and network.
The launch event will be held on 7th April at the University of Malta, and anyone who’s interested can check out more information on their website. The event is free and open to the public.
