World-famous Spanish actor Antonio Banderas will touch down in Malta in the coming days to continue shooting of his latest TV series ‘Genius: Picasso’. 

Banderas, 57, is playing Pablo Picasso in the second season of the ‘Genius’ series, the first episode of which will be broadcast on National Geographic on 24th April. 

Banderas is renowned for his performances in The Mask of Zorro and Desperado and for voicing Puss in Boots in the Shrek franchise. Net News, who revealed the news, reported he will be staying at a boutique hotel near the Grand Harbour in Valletta. This will be the Spanish actor’s first ever visit to Malta.
