Ukrainian artists are hosting a contemporary art exhibition in Sliema to mark the sombre date: a year since the full-scale war with Russia.

365th February, which opens on Friday 24th February, is an interactive show featuring artworks by a foundation called Artists Support Ukraine and other works by a Ukrainian artist living in Malta.

It is organised with the help of The Salesians of Don Bosco, the National Federation of Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco, and members of the Ukrainian community in Malta.

Guests can leave their mark and contribute, expressing their thoughts through art with drawing on canvas that will be provided.

A short film called “Olha’s Life”, about the paralysing effects of war on a Ukrainian woman’s life, will also be launched during the show.

This “Ready-To-Print” exhibition of Ukrainian artists is showing worldwide to support the Ukrainian cultural community: artists and cultural workers who are left in limbo in Ukraine and in need.

More than 15 international cultural institutions have shown this Ready-To-Print exposition including Berlin, Sofia, Stockholm, Flekkefjord and Montpellier.

The exhibition opens at 9am on Friday 24th February at 14, “Sashebo”, St. John Bosco Street, Sliema.
