An Exhibition On Wheels Is Coming To Malta Tomorrow

Museums? Please, the latest exhibition to hit Malta is actually going to be a moving one. The relationship between Maltese people and the lack of space on the island is being explored in an exhibition which is definitely the first of its kind in Malta.

Square is a collaboration between artists Lisa Rastl and Willi Dorner, who set out to explore the fact that 1,562 people per square kilometre reside on our island, making it one of the most densely populated countries in the entire world.

This photographic exhibition will be travelling around the country on a number of selected public transport buses and on construction sites at MU?A in Valletta.

There will also be displays showing on billboards in Msida and Paola.

A number of people were selected last year following an open call for participants to pose anonymously to symbolise the population increase in the country.

The exhibition will start making its rounds around the island tomorrow and is organised by Valletta 2018.
