Lea Ellul Sullivan, the young Maltese ballerina that has been absolutely killing it for years now, has just received a very prestigious invitation to join the Royal Ballet School programme throughout the year.

Not only that, but she has been invited as an International Scholar, making her Malta’s very first ever International Scholar at the Royal Ballet School.

This incredible invitation is set to open the doors to the next big step in Lea’s professional dance career.

“We are thrilled! Lea is Malta’s 1st Royal Ballet School International Scholar,” said Marisha Bonnici, her dance teacher at Seed Dance Studios.

“Selection for the programme is by invitation only and identifies exceptional talent in young Ballet students outside the UK. Students are invited for selected weeks to train in The Royal Ballet School System of Training at White Lodge in Richmond Park. International Scholars will be ambassadors, representing The Royal Ballet School internationally,” she continued.

Her invitation to become a Royal Ballet School International Scholar comes with the hope of becoming a Royal Ballet School student when she reaches 15 years of age – she is just, incredibly, 11-years-old.

Lea’s dances have been grabbing people’s attention for a couple of years now

She is a Jospeh Calleja BOV fund recipient, and was previously selected as one of the twelve best contemporary soloists at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) semi-finals in Paris, quickly garnering herself a stellar reputation on the island – and now, abroad as well.

She received tons of support from her fans and well-wishers when the news was announced

How awesome do you think Lea is?
