Handmade, low impact, local, fair and reusable – the nice things we all want and need – these qualities are coming to a local market in just a few weeks!

After the super fun market held at Hastings Gardens in Valletta earlier this year, the team behind Nice Things Market (NTM) is back with the next edition of the creative fair.

This time round NTM is partnering up with Klabb Ħawaj, a newly opened community centre located in the heart of San Ġwann.

Over the weekend of 10th and 11th September, you will have a chance to meet and shop from over 40 local makers and small, independent businesses showcasing their products during the event.

Among popular local brands like Maduma, ReRoot, Terra and Ferment Island, there will be a chance to say hello to a large group of new stallholders and the artists from previous editions – Studio 107, Made by Finkel, Wood and Tassle, Julinu Studio and Ebru Cinar, to name just a few!

But that’s not all: the upcoming edition of the market is bringing together the craft and vintage community to highlight the values of conscious consumerism and sustainability, in style!

Some of Malta’s biggest vintage sellers like Lady Kitt Vintage, Taylormaid Vintage, Vogue Xchange, Braccio de Ferro, DAZE and The Vintage Collection will set up a shop at Klabb Ħawaj offering clothing and accessories ranging from 90’s shirts and jackets to retro dresses and jewellery dating all the way back to colourful decades of ’60s and ’70s.

With drinks available at Klabb Ħawaj’s bar, music and delicious NY-style bagels by The Bagel Hole (coming all the way from Valletta with their pop-up kitchen) you can be sure that you’re in for a special weekend full of good vibes.
