Her standout work impressed the team at CRAG Gallery, who awarded her one of just three prizes given out, a summer artist residency in Turin, Italy.

“I’m over the moon,” Vella shared in a post celebrating the news, expressing gratitude to the exhibition team, CRAG Gallery, and her supporters in Malta and Venice.

From developing film at home to exhibiting in Venice and now preparing for a creative summer in the mountains of northern Italy, it’s clear that Sasha is continuing her growth as an artist not just here in Malta but as a global artist.

Well done Sasha!
