Imaginative Fusion: ‘Juxtapose’ Exhibition Showcases Mixed-Media Artworks At Marie Gallery
The “Juxtapose” art exhibition, curated by Hudson’s Chairman Alfie Borg, recently debuted at Marie Gallery in Tigne, Malta.
This unique collection of 17 mixed-media pieces showcases a diverse array of subjects, ranging from renowned figures in entertainment, sports, to fictional characters.
At the heart of “Juxtapose” is the idea that imagination is a powerful force, a concept inspired by Albert Einstein’s famous quote. Each artwork tells a story, delving into themes of society, religion, politics, and human nature.
These pieces, crafted on wood and influenced by various cultural elements, are reflections of Alfie Borg’s personal experiences and narratives.
In addition to being a showcase of artistic talent, the exhibition is a philanthropic endeavour. Sales from the artworks will benefit three key causes supported by the Hudson Foundation: aid for children, animal welfare, and environmental conservation.
The beneficiaries include the Ukrainian community in Malta, the Association of Abandoned Animals (AAA), and Park tal-Majjistral.
