Maltese Artist Wins Two Gold Medals In International Nail Olympics 2018

Snatching trophies across the globe, Maltese artists and athletes continue to make our tiny island proud with their achievements. The latest winner is Romina Micallef McCairn, a nail technician whose art saw her win two top spots at the Nailympia 2018 competition.

 “I’m so proud to have brought home gold,” she said. “This is my biggest achievement yet and I want to thank my friends and family for all their support.”

Romina won gold medals for best ‘Stiletto Nail Art’ and best ‘French Twist’. During the competition hosted in Rome, the Maltese representative was up against technicians from Brazil, Australia, America, Russia, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, Korea and more.

With more than 15 years of experience in the business it’s no surprise that Romina beat out over 100 other participants at the event.
