Maltese Ceramics Company Unveils ‘Bespoke Work Of Art’ Table For Donald Trump
US President-Elect Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida could soon house a special, custom-built table made in Malta.
Unveiled by Maltese ceramics company Mediterranean Ceramics, the “commissioned bespoke work of art” was “custom hand painted” as a collaboration between the company and Louisiana-based US distributor M.Clare Designs, presenting a “unique blend of artistry and craftsmanship to honor a significant chapter in American history”.
David and Brian Grima from Mediterranean Ceramics told Times of Malta how they’re staunch “fans of Trump”, with David having actually attended his rally in Vegas last year. David had even tried to vote in California last November, but was reportedly turned away after not being able to provide a valid address. “We were commissioned by our distributor in the States,” he said. “All this happened very suddenly after his victory, and we came up with the idea to produce a special table for President Trump.”

Along with M. Clare Designs founder Clare Broussard (who is reportedly a “very closed friend” of Trump’s), the Grima brothers are planning on presenting the table personally to the President-Elect following his inauguration on Monday 20th January. “He’s going to love it, I’m sure he might order some tables,” David continued telling the Times. “We’re just waiting for the date to present it to President Trump… and we will be there for the occasion.”
The Grima brothers have also previously designed similar custom items for popular leaders like Queen Elizabeth II and Pope Francis, but David admitted this table was “done more with passion”.
