Maltese Tattoo Artist Bags Multiple Awards At Renowned Tattoo Convention
Local tattoo artist Samuel Schiavone stunned at the ninth edition of the well-renowned Titanic Tattoo Convention in Belfast, bringing home several awards to his name.
The convention took place over the weekend, drawing in world famous artists, and showcasing local and international tattoo artists.
Schiavone took home the Best Portrait win, as well as the Best of Saturday. He also placed second in the Best of Show category for his noir-themed piece featuring none other than iconic 1940s actress Lauren Bacall as the subject.
This is not the first time Samuel has made waves in the industry, having taken part in the Milano Tattoo Convention earlier this year in January. The tattoo artist dominated in the Large Black and Grey category, and placed second in the Best of Saturday category.
