This Photographer Captures Malta’s Mystical Waters Like Never Before… And He Has His Daughter To Thank For It

Article Featured Image

Malta may be a tiny sland, but its waters tell tales of an unspoiled world where mankind and nature come together in the depths of the deep blue.

Photos can only provide a glimpse into the submerged world but, if it’s a good photo, it’s all you need to know about what lies beneath.

Jon Borg’s Instagram account captures the enchanting waters of the Mediterranean and his unique artistic expression manifested in his photography makes for some enchanting and mystical viewing.

At just 400 followers, Borg’s account is just a small fish in the vast ocean, but that doesn’t mean his work doesn’t give us a whole new perspective on the waters of the Mediterranean that we call home.

Jon’s love for the shade of blue contrasted against the vibrant colours of ocean life brings out the dark beauty of mother nature. We have his daughter to thank for his work, as it was her birth that rekindled his passion for colour and detail, and he has never looked back since.

Here are some of his most stunning shots.
