Thomas F*ckin’ Shelby! Maltese Ballerina Featured On The Latest Episode Of British Hit Drama Series Peaky Blinders

For any Maltese person to cast in an international TV drama is a pretty big deal. But when you feature on an episode of one of the biggest British TV dramas of the past century, well that’s just something else.
There are only a handful of shows that have experienced the same level of success and popularity as the British drama series, Peaky Blinders and, after last week’s episode, Maltese ballerina Brenda Lee Grech can now say she was part of it.
Peaky Blinders is currently on its fifth season and their latest episode ‘The Loop’ featured the Malta-born, London-based ballerina performing in front of the notorious Thomas Shelby and co.

Peaky Blinders is now in its fifth season and has managed to go from strength to strength with 6.2 million fans tuning in for this season alone, a record for the franchise.
As you can imagine, Brenda was chosen for the episode because of her exceptional ballet skills, which were on display alongside her dancing partner for the scene Jacob Wye, and broadcasted to millions around the world watching the episode last Sunday.
We don’t want to spoil anything from the episode for you, but from what we can gather over on Peaky Blinders’ official Instagram page, it doesn’t end well for the Maltese dancer…

Brenda’s cameo also landed her the opportunity to attend the premiere of season five at BFI Southbank last July alongside fellow Peaky costars including Helen McCrory who plays the infamous Polly Gray.
We can only imagine what it must have been like to be in the presence of Cillian Murphy and the rest of the Shelby gang, congrats Brenda!
