Two Maltese Photographers Snag Four Awards At London Convention
Two Maltese photographers have stunned judges in London, snagging four awards at The Society of Photographers Convention Awards of 2023 held in the UK’s capital city over the weekend.
Duncan Cauchi – who works as an Enterprise Solutions Manager at BMIT – obtained three awards at the coveted event:
- Documentary Photographer of the Year 2023 – Over the Frozen Lake
- Landscape Photographer of the Year 2023 – Snake Road
- Travel Photographer of the Year 2023 – Adrift at Lake Braies.
Following his extremely impressive achievement, Cauchi stated that he “cannot believe” that he won three Photographer of the Year categories. He went on to thank all the “judges, organisers, print handlers, and everyone at the SWPP”.
Meanwhile, photographer Mario Vassallo secured Wedding Photographer of the Year 2023.
Over 300 people attended this prestigious event to find out who was recognised for creativity, innovation, and effectiveness in their photographic skills. The organisation itself described this ceremony as their “best presentation yet”.
