Zack Ritchie, the artist behind the Archipals at the Mercury Towers, has just unveiled his sixth public sculpture.

“Il-Familja is a tribute to Malta’s evolving identity. A group of copper figures holding hands each one a different age, energy, and rhythm,” with musical notes as heads representing the unique frequencies each of us carry.

Through this piece, Ritchie sought to remind the viewer that even though spaces change, community stays. “We grow together, adapt together, and shape what’s next together.”

“Once known for nightlife, this area is now home to families, workers, and dreamers with more transformation on the way.”

Ritchie described this piece as “a small part of my bigger dream to turn Malta into a cultural playground.”

Well done Zack! We can’t wait to see what you get up to next
