The streets of Malta feature a lot of stray cats and dogs, and while they’re all equally adorable, a gang of 11 cats recently managed to make it to international fame thanks to the popular viral page Bored Panda.

In a piece all about Badass Animals Who Don’t Care About Your Stupid Rules, a group of cats in the famous Ġnien L-Istazzjoni between Attard and Birkirkara can be seen all over the garden, chilling on a wall and on the floor. All around them? Signs specifically forbidding cats from entering the garden. As if they give a shit.

We always knew cats weren’t the most law-abiding creatures out there, but this really gives a whole new meaning to ‘zero fucks’.

The group of cats, which Bored Panda dubbed the Anarcats (get it?) joined dozens of other badass animals, from nonchalant dogs to rebellious birds. 

The whole list is absolutely hilarious, but if you’re looking for a little dose of Malta, our own furry representatives are in number 36.
