Beatrice Njoya Makes History At Miss Universe 2024 With Her Inspiring Story Honoured Worldwide
Maltese representative Beatrice Njoya has made waves on the global stage, becoming the oldest woman to compete in the Miss Universe pageant at the age of 40.
Her inspiring story not only broke barriers but also earned Malta unprecedented recognition during the 73rd Miss Universe competition.
For the first time in history, Malta was honoured with a dedicated full clip aired live during the event, which was watched by millions worldwide.
The feature celebrated Beatrice’s powerful journey, highlighting her resilience and the diversity she represents.
Miss Universe Malta shared its pride on social media, saying: “MALTA 🇲🇹 has been recognised, out of 126 countries, for the powerful story of @beatrice_njoya with a full clip aired live during the 73rd Miss Universe competition. This is the first time in history to dedicate a full clip for Malta.”
Miss Denmark ultimately took the crown as Victoria Kjær Theilvig was named as the 73rd Miss Universe.
