From acrobats to puppets, The New Victorians to ?finMalta, life-size pop-up books to underground vaults, ?igu?ajg very literally has something to please theatre lovers of all kinds.

Now in its eighth Edition, this year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever. For those of you who might not know what ?igu?ajg is, it’s basically a theatre festival for children and young people that takes place over around 10 days in the city of Valletta. Performers from Malta and all over the world will take up residence in our capital city, with multiple performances, screenings, and workshops happening throughout the day.

This year the festival is expected to be visited by around 20,000 audience members – 8,000 of which will be school children – with 27 projects happening over the 10 days.
